Matthijs has a corporate law practice with an emphasis on transactions. He negotiates and advises on commercial contracts, governance issues, joint ventures, management buy-outs, relaunches, participations and shareholders’ agreements and assists in mergers and takeovers. In addition, Matthijs litigates in matters pertaining to corporate law and civil law disputes.

Matthijs represents companies, shareholders, directors and investors and works for parties engaged in marketing, media, internet, software and property. Matthijs is a member of the Corporate Litigation Association, the Commercial Law Association and the IBA.
