Jurjen Tuinman (1973) deals with – potentially - contentious issues relating to commercial and residential property, with a focus on landlord and tenant issues and property transaction disputes. Jurjen acted in relation to a number of leading propery cases (including the Centre Hotel cases I, II and III) and his team is involved in a range of cases related to rent reviews, fit-out disputes and negligence and defect claims. Next to litigation, the bulk of his work is either dispute avoidance or negotatiating the best deal for his clients.

Jurjen published widely on contentious property matters and is in the editorial board of Tekst & Commentaar for Tenant and Landlord Law. In addition Jurjen is a honorary deputy justice in the Court of Appeal at The Hague.

Jurjen obtained his law degree at Leiden University.
