Since joining the bar in 2011, Emille has gained broad experience in the field of corporate and commercial litigation. He represents shareholders, executive and non-executive directors, companies and other stakeholders in a wide range of cases. Varying from M&A litigation, emergency financing and inquiry proceedings to summary proceedings regarding the performance of an agreement. Emille also regularly deals with seizure of evidence, enforcement disputes, disclosure proceedings, and complex procedural law issues. Emille’s services are often engaged at a phase in which proceedings can still be avoided. He is regularly involved, for instance, in settling joint ventures that have come to a head.

Emille is regularly asked to lecture in his field, in particular on corporate governance and corporate disputes. He worked at Houthoff until 2019, both in the Amsterdam and New York City offices.

Emille is a member of the Corporate Litigation Association and the Association of Young Litigation Lawyers.

He is also one of the authors of the Dutch chapter of the ‘Chambers Global Practice Guide on Litigation 2023.
