Daphne Beunk

Daphne is a member of the dispute resolution and insolvency law practice groups. She advises on and litigates a variety of issues related to the law of obligations, private international law (PIL), business law and insolvency law. She is regularly appointed by the court as receiver in bankruptcies.

Daphne is a lecturer at Radboud University. Daphne is an editorial member of the magazine ‘Financiering, Zekerheden en Insolventiepraktijk’ (FIP) and is co-author at the ‘Groene Serie’, commenting the Insolvency regulation (recast) and articles 203-205 Fw. She publishes and is (JOR-) annotator in the field of private international law with a focus on international insolvency law.

Daphne is a member of the ‘Vereniging Jonge Insolventierecht Advocaten’ (JIRA) and the ‘Nederlandse Vereniging voor Rechtsvergelijkend en Internationaal Insolventierecht’ / Dutch Association for Comparative and International Insolvency Law (NVRII).

She is also one of the authors of the Dutch chapter of the ‘Chambers Global Practice Guide on Litigation 2023.
